Season 1 Synopsis:
What is an Illustrated
Estelle "E" Sekul is considered "weird" in her small rural town os Placer Springs. She is obsessed with the paranormal and unexplained (ever since her Father went missing 9 years ago). She preffers a good story or fantasy lore over everyday life.
But now her Mother is gravely ill and Estelle is suddenly responsible for her care. Yet, all E can really do is watch helplessless as things get steadily worse. Estelle barely notices the reports and talk around town of the strange murders, in which all the victims bare a strange mark on their skin.
After things take a sudden turn for the worse, Estelle finds herself at the wrong place at the wrong time, and her own life slipping away. Whisked away on the brink of death, Estelle is rescued by a group who call themselves simply, the Protectors.
She learns that the Mark is more than skin deep. Nothing can prevent it, nothing can break it, and death always follows it; usually in the form of the wraiths known as the "Fomori".
Death and Destiny surround her, but will E be the next to be Marked? Or worse...someone she loves.
An illustrated script series is just as it sounds. Destiny of the Marked is the first series to have this format as it's original form. Since the Author has no pull in the industry, she decided to publish her story in the form she wrote it: a TV series. Being an Artist trained in concept art and storyboards for Film and Video Games and obtaining a Film Production Degree, Nicole decided if she couldn't break into the industry, it shouldn't prevent her from making her own content. Thus, the illustrated script series began...
Each episode has one episode script with accompanying storyboards, character designs, environment designs, prop design, scene thumbnails and old artwork from earlier incarnations of the series.
